SUPERNATURAL
I turned the TV set on last night and, not surprisingly, there was absolutely nothing on. It seems they have been running nothing but re-runs. So when I saw “Supernatural” I didn’t think twice of it and kept flipping through channels but no other show caught my attention so I turned back to the boys and their supernatural adventures.
Oh boy; was I surprised. It appears they have started the new season and forgot to advertise. Have I forgotten to mention I currently live overseas? And thus, we get most of the hip shows a few months late. Thank God we get them at all; one would be tempted to say.
Anyway, “Lazarus Rising” (luckily for me, it was the season premiere) left me with my mouth wide open and my jaws on the floor. There was a twist I’ve never seen coming. And it just might make the fourth season the best one of them all. And those of you that happen to live in the US, please do not spoil my pleasure of watching the season by telling me what will happen next. I know you’ve already seen quite a few episodes but please, keep quiet.
And the guys are simply the perfect characters, aren’t they? Both the Winchester boys are extremely handsome with the dark look every woman dreams of (openly or secretly alike…). Bad boys but utterly good. Ok, so they kill for a living but at least they rid the earth of the nasty demons and that is good, is it not?
What truly makes the show interesting, are not only the main characters with their dark sex-appeal but the never-ending battle between good and evil; one that here takes on a different dimension and is not as simple as black and white anymore. Actually, it is more gray than anything else… So then you really do not quite know what to expect next… And this is precisely why I am simply itching for the next episode…A week seems like and eternity right now…
