LOST
I have been a huge fan of “Lost” since the very first episode. I remember being absolutely engrossed in every single moment of the show, totally oblivious to what was going on outside of me for the duration of each chapter. I didn’t want to miss a single frame and a single word. And every time I thought I had it figured out, there was a twist that left me absolutely flabbergasted.
And that lasted for about four seasons. Then somehow things started to slow down and the story line was not as gripping anymore. And then last year, it just seemed to go downhill. Perhaps it was the writer’s strike, which seemed to have screwed up a lot of people and even more shows. And perhaps it was something else entirely…
The result remains the same: “Lost” is just not as interesting as it used to be. However, I still watch it and I still want to know what will happen next and how the characters will (or not) survive the experience and the island. Because, after all, it is all about the island, is it not?
So what is the meaning of the island? And what will happen to all the people left behind with it moving through time? It must have some kind of physical effects on their bodies, right? That redhead is already beginning to feel whatever is it is and I’m assuming that her time is somewhat limited because Daniel seems to be fixed on saving her.
And what about the Oceanic Six—will they be able to find the island and go back to it to save the friends they left behind? And how did John die to save the island and bring them all back?
So many questions… So I guess there is only one thing left to do—stay tuned and let’s see if we find out the answers to any of them…
